▬ Le Gîte la Borderie ▬
La Borderie is
named this way because long time ago, the building was the house of the
“bordier” which means the tenant farmer. It is independent from the
mill and has a nice private space and car park, a garden and a pergola,
with an open outlook with an impressive view on the valley, the
hillsides, the city of Lectoure and its majestic cathedral. Sunsets
offering a breathtaking sight. It has a direct access to the swimming
pool located 30m away.
We wanted to create a very
cozy place where life is enjoyable in every season. It has a
kitchen-dining room very well furnished, a living room with a fire
place to add to the comfort during winter, a room at the first floor
with a 180 cm x 190 cm size bed with a large wardrobe and another room
on the ground floor, furnished with two 90 cm x 190 cm size beds and also a
desk. The bathroom is situated on the first floor, has a comfortable
Italian shower and offers a nice view on the swimming pool and the
stream.
La Borderie is ideal for a couple
or a person on its own. The second room can be easily transformed into
a rest area or an office or a bedroom for two children. Internet is
unlimited and there is a TV set eqquiped with a flat screen and a DVD player.
The soft and deep colours of this
unique and refined place, the sink made of stone, the walls in hemp and
lime coating, the furniture we gave patina to... everything makes la
Borderie appear as a haven of rest. Everyone who stayed there promised
to come back!
